Meat Puppets

One of the original bands on SST Records, The Meat Puppets have acquired quasi-legendary status on the US underground both for their uncompromisingly experimental nature and their pure longevity; surviving long after many of their contemporaries fell apart.

Whilst never enjoying the pure fanatasim bands like Husker Du, Black Flag and The Minutemen enjoyed, The Meat Puppets have been able to constantly reinvent their sound taking influences as diverse as the joyful folk rock of Guided By Voices and blues rock of ZZ Top, whilst remaining loud, fast and confrontational.
