Introducing East End trio, Melody Nelson. Influenced by Velvet Underground, The Ronnettes,Suicide and Bowie. Exiles to London in escape of the boredom of smalltown life and in their early twenties the group consisting of Irish/Jamaican Aidan Connell, (guitar & vocals), half Japanese Electro DJ; Cherif Hashizume, (bass & sound manipulation) and Israeli drumming powerhouse, Kapi. Having escaped the 'call up' Kapi arrived on UK soil, just in time to salvage the former trad-rock combo. Having ditched their former trad rock stylings for a more forward thinking sound, the group have been hard at work knocking out some new killer tunes, think 'A Spectoresque Stooges' . The group have been unlikely openers for the likes of Pete Doherty's Babyshambles and Razorlight, leaving bands bemused and audiences enamoured.
