Muse

Flamboyant, guitar-squelching English rock outfit Muse have been working the indie-rock circuit since the Britpop heyday of  the mid-90s. But it was the Noughties that were kind to them, as hits like 'Time Is Running Out', 'Starlight', 'Supermassive Black Hole' and 'Knights of Cydonia' propelled them to superstar, Brit Award-winning status.

The lads from Devon Matthew Bellamy, Christopher Wolstenholme and Dominic Howard have a distinct sound: Bellamy's use of falsettos and vibratos meld with the heavy twangs of electric guitars. Hearing them live is an aurally spectacular experience.
