Emerging from the so-called 'Thamesbeat' scene along with the likes of Larrikin Love and Jamie T, Mystery Jets first formed before vocalist Blaine Harrison's voice broke, and featured his father Henry on guitar.
Their début album 'Making Dens' earned them praise for their progressive leanings and innovative sound, before moving into poppier territory for the follow up 'Twenty One'.
Unfortunately, what with dropping Henry from the line-up, they lost their main novelty, and their most interesting feature. Shame.
