Nightmares On Wax is George Evelyn - aka DJ EASE (Electronic Sample Expert). In '91 he met Kevin Harper a member of a local breakdancing crew - and together they produced techno influenced first album 'A Word Of Science: The First and Final Chapter'.
They released 'Smoker's Delight' in '95 and Evelyn recruited a band to accompany the dark hip hop and electronica he was producing.
Nightmares On Wax were integral in the early 90's alternative electronic 'chill out' music which was exploding - assisted by Massive Attack and Leftfield.
