Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark

Probably the most famous thing to come out of the Wirral Peninsula since the middle-ages, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark were one of the first home-grown synth pop acts to hit the charts in the early 80s, peddling a sound that fused stripped down krautrock-like productions with intelligent lyrics and well honed pop sensibilities.
