Ou Est Le Swimming Pool

Where is the swimming pool? In the very near future I presume,  and located on the deck of Ou Est's private yacht as they sail around the world, bringing joy to the masses with their irrestibly catchy electro-pop.

With a wacky French name, quirky continental pseudonyms and ironic facial hair, these guys seem destined for stardom, or at least notoriety. And whilst the whole 80s parody thing is hardly new, few can pull it off with this much panache.

In fact, beyond the jokey image is a band capable of some seriously good music, updating the synth sounds of the Pet Shop Boys and The Human League for the discos of the 21st century.

This begs the question: ou est le major record deal?
