Paul Weller

Often lazily referred to as the Modfather, Paul Weller is certainly a Mod, and he is also a father. Although some find his shouty Estuary shtick a wee bit relentless, there's no doubting the calibre of his back catalogue.

The Jam produced some of the best songs of all time ('Going Underground', 'That's Entertainment', 'Eton Rifles'...), The Style Council had the coolest band name, and his solo stuff ain't half bad neither.
