Hailing from Reading, Pete and the Pirates are an indie-folk rocking five piece who actually feature two Peters, and no pirates.
Peddling lo-fi, harmony-laden, handclap-assisted good time folk, they are favourites of Steve Lamacq, NME and all those other tastemakers everyone always quotes.
Debut album 'Little Death' was released in 2008 to (mostly) positive reviews, and their eclectic, jangling charms look set to give them longevity.
