Ah Pete Bentham and his band The Dinner Ladies, where to start with these guys. Well how about Carter USM? Everybody likes Carter USM right? OK, now slap that northern wittery over a garage rock beat add that to the humour of Victoria Wood when she was funny and you're almost near the insane genius of this Liverpool three-piece.

OK, they probably should stop watching Thundercats all the time, but their hopelessly fun tales of lorry drivers, punks who need to try harder and a well meaning if niave socialists is so god-damn cute we want to take them home and keep them in a cupboard.
