Pitbull
Pitbull (real name Armando Christian Perez) is a Cuban-American crunk/reggaeton/rap artist whose crude, bilingual dance floor anthems have been massively successful in the U.S.
He's perhaps best known for his debut Lil' Jon-produced single 'Culo' (i.e. 'Ass'), released in 2004, although 2009 track 'You Know You Want Me' is his biggest international hit yet, reaching the UK Top Ten.
While his songs are hardly refined or memorable, it's noteworthy that Pitbull occupies the slightly unique position of being Hispanic, bilingual and Southern (he grew up in Florida and Georgia). His appeal thus covers a wide demographics, a fact reflected in his choice of producers and collaborators.
