Queen of Swords
The side project of casio grindcore outfit Trencher's drummer Lyam, Queen of Swords aim to combine the trash smack downs of Neurosis with the weird experimentation of Devo, to create a sound that they call 'cosmic disintegration and synth destruction'.
The result is a band that combines the super loud thrash chaos of Trencher with heavy drone spazz out noise, all held together by some skittish rhythms and drums that can only really be described as berserk.
