Queens of the Stone Age

Formed from the ashes of Kyuss in 1997, QOTSA are a heavy rock band, frequently labelled as a stoner band. Built around frontman Josh Homme (the only consistent member), they are set to release their fifth album in 2007, and are widely regarded as being one of the best rock acts in the world, their heavy psychedelic riffs setting them apart from their peers and giving them a certain uniqueness.
