Red Hot Chili Peppers

One of the biggest bands in the world today, it is hard to believe that RHCP have been funk rocking for nearly a quarter of a century. Written off by many after the massive success of 'Blood Sugar Sex Magik' in 1991 and the departure of guitarist John Frusciante, the reconvened line-up confounded everyone with the double-whammy of 'Californication' (1999) and 'By the Way' (2002). Though they have veered into soft-rock territory of late, there are few bands around with such a formidable back catalogue, and despite their advancing years, they still more than cut it live.
