Red Krayola

Formed at a Texan art school in 1966, The Red Krayola pre-dated the punk and no-wave scenes by two decades with their avant-garde noise rock.

They have been touring and recording ever since, with commercial success largely alluding them, despite winning a devoted cult of fans.

Since the '90s they have been gaining favour with followers of the Chicago post rock scene, signing with the town's Drag City label and continuing to frustrate and delight in equal measure.
