Rodrigo Sanchez and Gabriela Quintero are a duo from Mexico City, who met while in a thrash metal band.
Uprooting to Dublin, they decided to play acoustic flamenco covers of rock songs, practising in the city's pubs and bars before Damien Rice offered them a support slot.
They have since moved on to writing their own material alongside the covers, and achieved recognition as one of the most talented and unique groups around.
