Rose Elinor Dougall
Many is the loud argument about the Pipettes in pubs and parties up and down the country. Are they rubbish, or really excellent? One thing is for sure, they're going to miss this sexy keyboardist and singer.
Rose has decided to go solo and her skills with a keyboard and distinctive Brighton-accented vocals are distinctly reminiscent of The Pippettes, as well as instantly charming.
One point we have to mention, is the obvious parallels between this polka-dot-frock-wearing keyboardist and sassy vocalist, and a certain Kate Nash. They really do have similar voices but it seems that Elinor Dougall can actually sing, plays the keyboard very well (not like a grade 2 theory student) and is nice to look at. In other words, Kate Nash is Danny Devito to her Arnie in the Twins scenario. Nash is the wasted DNA. Rose is the rocking pop chick.

Perky pensive pop from a former Pipette. You can't help but bob along. The melodies remain, but with a more mature sound.
