Sleeparchive

A central player in Berlin's underground techno scene and a man with more aliases than a convicted paedophile, Sleeparchive aka Stepah Metzger aka Jegor Teplow aka Roger Semsroth has been releasing records since 2004 via his eponymous Sleeparchive imprint.

His sound is singular and uncompromising, encompassing elements of minimal, dub techno, ambient, industrial and dubstep in what amounts to a unique take on deep, hypnotic club music. Watch out for his blistering live PAs (guaranteed to slaughter the more chemically enhanced of clubbers), not to mention his impressively low-key moves behind the counter at Berlin's renowned Hardwax store.
