Snow Patrol
Snow Patrol are a 4 piece indie rock band hailing from Northern Ireland, who formed in Dundee, and operate out of Glasgow. Forming whilst studying together at University the band have released 5 albums.
Initially the band achieved only limited success amongst the indie crowd whilst signed to the hipster label, Jeepster. However, they were subsequently dropped by Jeepster after 2 albums and as is often the case this proved to be the making of the band. Signing to Polydor records they released 'Final Straw' in 2003 that included their breakthrough single 'Run'. 'Run' peaked at 3 in the UK singles charts and opened the band up to the public conciousness.
Now expanded to a 5 piece the band continue to take their nostalgia inducing indie to the masses.
