Stereophonics

Nearly a decade on from their excellent debut album 'Word Gets Around', Stereophonics have become pariahs of the music press.

Understandably so too, after one and a half great albums, they 'went pop' and embraced mainstream popularity, sacking their drummer and boring everyone in the process.

Then, they came back with career best song 'Dakota' in 2005, forcing even hardened music hacks to grudgingly write nice things. So what for the future? Well, happily latest release 'Pull The Pin' will pull them back towards mediocrity, and music hacks can rest easy.
