The Big Pink
The Big Pink are named after The Band's first album. Not The Big Pink's first album, that would just be weird, but the band called The Band's first album. This isn't going anywhere...
Made up of Milo Cordell and Robbie Furze, the two are well established in the world of music. Cordell runs record label Merok (home of the Klaxons and Crystal Castles) and Furze used to be the guitarist for Alec Empire. And that pretty much tells you what they sound like: Lock Alec Empire in a room with the Klaxons and, presuming he doesn't kill them, they'd sound something like The Big Pink.
