Usually when something is tagged 'challengingly experimental' you're either not going to get it, or spend loads of time trying to figure it out just to realise it wasn't really worth the effort, but this just isn't the case with Brooklyn brother and sister team Fiery Furnaces.

Relentless sonic chameleons, the Furnaces make playful, if unpredictable music which ranges from vast rock operas to hopelessly endearing pop ditties that are all characterised by an irreverent disregard for conventional song structures.
