The Glass
The Glass are a vocal electronic and synthpop duo consisting of Glen Brady (who produces solo under the name DJ Wool) and Dominique Keegan. Although they hail from Dublin, they currently split their time between New York (where they head the record label Plant Music) and Berlin (naturally).
They had an underground hit with 'Wanna Be Dancin'" over summer 2009, an electropop track with a disco feel. Like a cross between Mount Sims and Glass Candy, The Glass seek to make songs that are once peppy yet broody, frequently singing in a monotone style.
In October 2009 they released the 12" 'Superhero', featuring remixes from the likes of Sam Young and Bit Thief.
