The Lemonheads are an indie-punk band, originally from Boston but now based in New York City, led by the mercurial Evan Dando.
Despite some solo success with his 2003 album ‘Baby I’m Bored’, Dando has reformed the band with ex-members of punk outfit The Descendents, aiming for a louder sound.
Still most famous for their cover of ‘Mrs Robinson’, they have a back catalogue most bands would kill for, and with a nine year gap since their last album, it might be wise to catch them while you can.
