The Trojans

Gaz Mayall's Celtic-ska band is a distinctively London band fronted by Gaz Mayall of Gaz's Rocking Blues and basing it's sound on the strands of folk, punk, ska and blues that have lit up London since the '50s.

The Celtic bits are a mess, if we're honest but the horn section are incredibly tight and the ska sections are furious. This is a raucous band, known and loved wherever ska and reggae are played. To see them live, is to be at a good party.
