With dreamy tunes that bring together disparate elements of chamber music and indie rock, The Week That Was is the brainchild of Peter Brewis, whose quirky indie-rock band, Field Music, took a break from recording in 2007.
In addition to Peter Bewis, The Week that Was showcases the skills of a whole host of musicians, allowing the music to veer from string-laced indie with delicate folk sensibilities to darker drum-driven rock.
