The Wild Swans

The brainchild of Paul Simpson, the former keyboardist of Scouse new wavers The Teardrop Explodes, The Wild Swans made a name for themselves with breezy indie pop that took the jangly aspects of new wave and combined them with the fey psychedelia of Mersey beat.

Reforming in 2009, they have played a few reunion shows in Liverpool and released a couple of new singles.
