Tim Exile
Tim Exile = Tim Shaw, a classically trained Bitish violinist who has turned his hand to the guilty pleasures of IDM, breakcore, DnB and gabber.
He began releasing drum n bass back in 1999 on the Moving Shadow imprint, becoming steadily more experimental and releasing his first album, 'Pro Agonist', on Mike Paradinas's hallowed Planet Mu imprint. He also released an album of entirely improvised material entitled 'Tim Exile's Nuisance Gabbaret Lounge'.
His latest album, 'Listening Tree', is out on the legendary Warp label, and cuts an interesting line between ambience and glitchy darkness.
