Exhibitions: , Art, Photography, Gallery

How Much: Free!
When artists get involved in topical politics the results can often be a little messy. And when artists get involved in exploring ideas around the arbitrary construciton of value, you usually end up simply with terrible work.

But this exhibition - featuring work by third year students from the University of East London - sounds cool. £9,000 features works by 28 different photographers, each of whom are responding to the recent rise in tuition fees in their own, individual ways.

The stroke of genius though is that the entire exhibition is for sale - for £9,000 - and the money goes to fund a university year for "one lucky student". Cool, huh?

What exactly does £9,000 get you these days? There's only one way to find out...
