New paintings and works on paper by contemporary artist Abel Auer at Corvi-Mora this month.
Auer does mysterious landscape images that somehow combine the colour-palette of the Fauvists with the occultist symbolism of Joan Miró. Little cottages stand isolated in darkened woods, fairytale towers stretch into the sky, and what is that behind those trees?
Auer's work is sprinkled with magic dust.
