Alice Anderson
Freud Museum, 20 Maresfield Gardens, Hampstead, NW3 5SX
This summer sees the Freud Museum tying itself in knots. Or rather,
contemporary artist Alice Anderson is tying it in knots - by wrapping
the exterior of the building in thousands of metres of red dolls' hair.
Inside the museum are a series of new sculptures, also involving dolls,
that continue Anderson's exploration of dreams, memories and fantasies
- perfectly in keeping with the work of Freud himself.
Until 05.06.11
