Tuesday, 7 October 2008 - Sunday, 18 January 2009

Hayward Gallery, Belvedere Road, Southbank, SE1 8XX

Exhibitions: , Art, Painting, Gallery, Installation, Video, Media

How Much: £10.00 (Admission)
The word iconic is bandied about quite a bit these days, but some of the works created by Andy Warhol during his extraordinarily prolific career can justifiably lay claim to such a sobriquet.

Yes, we all know the Marilyn screen-prints and the Campbell's soup stuff, but this new exhibition at the Hayward focuses on work produced by the Pop Art master in less immediately obvious media: there's film, video, screen-tests, television programmes and a whole variety of archive material alongside well-known paintings and installations.

A treat for Warhol fans and a fascinating show for anyone even vaguely interested in the origins of contemporary art.

Until 18.01.09.

Tickets include entry to Robin Rhode
