Possibly not the best title, but this looks like a brilliant exhibition. Exploring the premise that you have to look back to look forward, Breese Little present a selection of works that represent the best of the retro-futurist tendency in contemporary art.
There's work on show by some really promising artists, like Rowena Hughes, Sam Burford and Viktor Timofeev (fresh from his solo show at Hannah Barry). We really like the collage aesthetic in evidence across the exhibition, and particularly the detailed drawings of Sam Griffin, which remind us of Ryan Leigh.
Best commercial exhibition of 2012 so far? Quite possibly.
