Stewart Lee + The Penny Dreadfuls

Sunday, 26 July

Monto Water Rats, 328 Gray's Inn Road, Kings Cross, WC1X 8BZ

Comedy: , Stand Up

How Much: £10.00 (Entry)
Held in indie venue the Monto Water Rats, the Balowski Arts Club is a brand new art hub programming each season around a single theme, genre or art form. Season one, entitled 'Nouveaux', hails the return of comedy to this historical pub theatre with a selection of hour-long, new works by the finest Edinburgh Festival-going talent around.

Tonight's show features two of our favourite acts: sketch troupe The Penny Dreadfuls; who have received over 30 five star reviews for their recent shows and the legendary Stewart Lee; whose brilliance was finally recognised by the Beeb recently when they gave him a long awaited comedy series. He is undoubtedly one of the most talented British comics working on the circuit today. Preview double bills don't get better than this.
