Exhibitions: , Art, Science, Museum, History

How Much: Free!

One of the Wellcome Collection's most hotly anticipated exhibitions since the institution opened: Brains - the Mind as Matter explores not so much what the brain does as what we have done to it. So the exhibition is split into four sections - Measuring/Classifying; Mapping/Modelling; Cutting/Treating; and Giving/Taking.

On display, as ever with Wellcome, are all manner of amazing things - from manuscripts to videos, photography to contemporary art (by the likes of Helen Pynor and Annie Cattrell) and even real human brains.

Guaranteed to be one of the best shows of 2012.

Until 17.06.12.
