No, this isn't the stage version of the Christina Aguilera flesh-fest that hit cinema screens last year.

A world away from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, Johnny Reno lies low at a dilapidated burlesque theatre in 1952 America as anti-Communist fever reaches its height and the authorities are after him for refusing to cooperate.

Paying homage to the golden age of the American musical, this new show from British writers Adam Meggido and Roy Smiles combines show tunes and razzle dazzle with the grit of politics and conflict.
