One of the most interesting bands on the US experimental scene, Earth formed back in 1990 making what was then a ground-breaking combination of doom metal and repetitive, minimalistic sound art.
A precursor to bands like Sunno))), OM, Boris and Fuck Buttons, Earth haven't played a UK live show in year, but that hasn't put ATP off. They've only managed to coax Dylan Carson and Co out of hiding and book them a show at the atmospheric Union Chapel tonight.
Supported Mount Eerie and O Poan, this one should be really special.
