As part of the Tower Hamlets Spring Open Exhibition (which celebrates the 10,000 artists and hundreds of galleries and arts spaces thoughout the borough) this April sees something ratther special taking place over in the Mile End Art Pavilion.
Latitudinal Cuisine have teamed up with the Open organisers to present a sunday lunch for 200 guests, all dining together at, apparently, "the longest table you have ever seen".
Each guest must each bring a dish (and some drink) that represents their cultural background - as a bunch of new media douches Spoonfed will be bringing Skittles, a can of Red Stripe, some left-over canapes, a colossal bag of Turkish flatbread. Mmmmm....
