Ah Field Day. That magical day, once every year when Victoria Park ushers out all of the playing children and dog walkers and welcomes in 20,000 indie kids to whoop, go wild and feel woozy after too many fairground rides and festival burgers.
The Line up is in the preliminary stages at the moment, but already it looks like 2012 is going to be a banger. Not only have you got your big name items like Franz Ferdinand, Jeffrey Lewis, Hudson Mohawke, Beirut, The Vaccines and Metronomy, there’s also a whole smorgasbord of emerging talent like Outfit, Peaking Lights, Zulu Winter and Com Truise to keep music nerds like us happy.
With indie titans Mazzy Star and hotly tipped new boys Theme Park just announced, we recommend getting your tickets in early for this one.
