A short walk from Covent Garden tube, the Funny Side club can be found beneath the Corner Store bar, serving up live comedy five days a week. Tonight's acts include witty Jewish stand-up Josh Howie and skilled improviser Martin Davis.

Sixty-or-so people pack in to create a pleasant, lively, if slightly bunker-like atmosphere. Food and drink are both readily available and positively encouraged, with a downstairs bar and regular, well-timed intervals.
