Thursday, 30 September 2010 - Sunday, 16 January 2011

Tate Modern, Bankside, Southbank, SE1 9TG

Exhibitions: , Art, Painting, Gallery

How Much: £14.00 (Tickets) , £12.00 (Concessions)
Unbelievably this is the first major exhibition dedicated to the works of Paul Gauguin to grace London in over 50 years.

Gauguin was one of the leading Post-Impressionist painters whose ability to evoke a feeling of raw power helped to pave the way for the likes of Picasso.

This promises to be one of the shows of 2010.

Until 16.01.11.

Whether or not you believe the rumours about Gauguin's extra curricular activities with the Tahitian women he painted, there's no denying the man knows his way round a canvas. Subtle, expressive and downright beautiful, plus this is the first time they've been in London for over 50 years so you have bragging rights. Don't miss this.
