It may not seem like it now, but back before being a stoner was all about listening to hip hop, wearing hemp clothes and stinking out your mum's Nissan Micra, smoking weed usually entailed sitting in your mates bedroom listening to super loud but strangely hypnotic metal and just zoning out.
