An award-winning, interactive show taking place in a series of locations around the Barbican Estate. Each show is individual and lasts 35 minutes, as every audience member in turn wanders through the story.
Helium tells the story of a girl learning about her grandfather. His history unravels backwards from his war service in a Lancaster Bomber to his mysterious work as a magician in 1920s London. As one moves between sites, a mixture of live performance, sound effects and digital media is used to create a tapestry, and the audience is encouraged to interact and question.
An incredibly confident and finely balanced interactive show: short, sweet, and unforgettable.
Performances start every five minutes and last just over half an hour. Book early...
