Beery fun: Dance Classes

How Much: Sold Out :(
Having a twirl with twenty different men in one evening is contrary to how it sounds; all in the best possible taste.

From city singletons to severely loved up couples Jive nation's clientèle is as varied as it gets. There is no pressure to turn up with a plus one as everyone gets a spin with everyone else. Which honestly isn't as awkward as it sounds. After the first misplaced hand everyone's in the swing of things with more experienced dancers guiding the newbies.

The moves are ability appropriate with two tiers of classes, beginners or advanced. Instruction is superb; encouraging, in plain English but not patronizing. Set moves are learnt individually, eventually culminating in a full routine that will definitely come in handy next time you want to wow that Patrick Swayze look-a-likey.

Spoonfed Team Thursday, 14 August
A contingent of Spoonfed team members have started routinely showing up to the Jive Nation classes which take place around the city and all involved agree that Sway is the best venue by far. If you fancy having a swing with a Spoonfeeder, get yourself down to the Sway every Thursday to join in the Jive Nation dance classes. Don't worry, we'll even forgive your two left feet.
Changehere Monday, 08 June
Really great dance workshop and worth a visit, even if you're not a dancer. Although it's a bit pricey if you're paying per night, Jive Nation has a number of nights at various venues throughout the week and offer a very reasonable 5 week pass for unlimited classes during that time. Definitely a must if you're looking for something to do after work in London.
