Held every Tuesday, The Lion's Den Comedy Car Crash is a spontaneous open mic comedy night. None of the acts are booked in advance and the line-up is chosen from names drawn at random from a hat. Anyone can participate on the night as long as they leave their name at the door as they enter.
There are about 26 spots up for grabs and acts are drawn out of a hat in groups of four to ensure a random line-up. The night aims to be as fun, dynamic and as fresh as possible. Some acts may well be dreadful but this is often the most entertaining part of open mic evenings and spots are 5 minutes maximum so any disasters are short-lived!
