Shunts hit show Money is immersion theatre at its best. Exploring an extraordinary three-?storey machine built in the centre of an empty warehouse in Bermondsey Street, this show looks at the dark side of money making.
The machine itself is a relic of Victorian industrialism built to satisfy the self serving interests of both the young entrepreneur and traditional money maker. But as it hisses and steams, its over stressed gears throb and grind; the lights keep going out and a feral child stalks the ventilation ducts. Putting the audience at the heart of the action as it unfolds, Money reveals a world on the brink of collapse.
