Since 2001, Monkeyfunk has built a reputation for its weekend sessions in the ballroom of The Bedford.
Hosted by residents Hugo and Andrea, there is a regular roster of special guests, they stick to only quality tunes, and have built a niche thanks to not following the trend for commercial house and dreary R&B.
For everything from funk and breaks to ska dancefloor jazz, the Bedford packs in over 400 each Friday and Saturday. But be warned, get in before 11pm, or Wandsworth Council get displeased.
