MxPx are a band that have been around and playing for more than 10 years, forming when the members were just 15 years old. Inspired by other skate punk bands of the time such as the Descendants and NOFX, they developed their sound that was classified as Christian-punk into a more mainstream hardcore sound.
Still able to get people of certain age and inclination all misty eyed, they play a stupidly low key show at the Macbeth tonight.
