American alternative rock band Nada Surf are probably best known for the song 'Popular' from 1996's album High/Low. With its sarcastic, angsty lyrics and (at the time) controversial video, it is undoubtedly a high-point in '90s high-school indie.
But Nada Surf have done plenty of other stuff: five albums and over fifteen singles. Listening to them you can see why MCR and Fall Out Boy never got over the high-school prom. Great stuff!
