As regulars will know, Heroes is all about live music, and there 'Open Mic Night; aims to hit you on a weekday with the UK scene's brightest and best acts.
Overcoming for the venue's perplexing lack of a bass amp, this open stage night is the sort of place where line ups are cobbled together on the spot, leading to situations wherelad rock scallies can easily end up sharing the stage with fey art-rockers.
There's nothing wrong with that, though, and the beer's fairly cheap too.
